Houses of Parliament (Palace of Westminster)

The famous neo-Gothic Houses of Parliament is topped by Big Ben and consists of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

A royal residence from 1042 to 1547, it’s now the meeting place of the legislative branch of the government of the United Kingdom.
