D-Day10 Ranger monument on the bluff of Pointe du Hoc. It’s supposed to represent the dagger used by the Rangers, but the tip is broken (or was broken off). I had this photo in mind before leaving the US. I was disappointed that I couldn't get a closer shot, but the area was fenced off with danger signs.
