Dachau12 The Murder of those unfit for Work The "invalid transports" to Hartheim Castle near Linz, one of the six central murder facilities in the "euthanasia" program, ended in 1942. In the infirmary those "unfit for work" were however still "selected" at roughly three month intervals. They were murdered by injection, simply left to die in the invalid blocks, or they were deported to the extermination camps.
