The city (winter) house of Prince Euguene. The Baroque exterior is exquisite, but there was no room for expansion (e.g. for a garden). Thus, the Prince built Belvedere as a summer palace which included a Versailles-inspired garden.

The Hapsburgs did the same things. The Hofburg was their winter, in-city residence and the Schönbrunn (SHUN-brun) Palace their summer, out-of-city residence.
