Honours of Scotland & Stone of Destiny

These symbols of Scottish Sovereignty are on display in the Crown Room on the first floor of the Palace.

The Honours, Scotland's Crown Jewels. have been kept in the Crown Room since 1617. The Stone of Destiny (aka the Stone of Scone) was returned to Scotland from Westminster Abbey in 1996.
